– Commitment to living and working in Queensland for two years from the visa grant date.
For 491 Nominations:
– Points test result of 65 or higher.
– Occupation on Home Affairs relevant list of eligible skilled occupations (LIN19/051).
– Competent English or higher.
– Evidence of living and working in Regional Queensland with full-time post-qualification employment (minimum 30 hours per week) in your nominated or closely related occupation at EOI lodgement.

Caveats for Selected Occupations in Skilled Workers Living in Queensland:

– Internal and External Auditors: Must work as an Auditor, not an Accountant.
– Cooks and Chefs: No takeaway or fast-food businesses qualify.
Graduates of Queensland University
Common eligibility criteria for all graduate pathways:

– Masters Graduates in STEM or Agriculture fields (190 and 491): Full-time employment in nominated occupation is required.
– Masters Graduates not in STEM or Agriculture fields (190 and 491): Need GPA 6.0 or above for 190, GPA 5.0 or above for 491, and full-time employment in nominated occupation.
– Bachelor Graduates (190 and 491): GPA 6.0 or above for 190, GPA 5.0 or above for 491, and full-time employment in nominated occupation.
